“Through the months, we could see Hannah being …. happy. She regularly shared about her days, what she was doing, things she enjoyed and discovered, as well as connections she made during her internships. This is something she never did before. I think she really enjoyed working and interacting with others. At times, she was even invited for lunch. This is also something we definitely didn’t see happening at school. She definitely became more in-tune with her life and the world around her, more animated and alive.”

“I think she also received validation about how great she was. During her internship she felt valued for what she was doing and for who she was. I think she learned a lot about how to present herself, how to speak and interact with others in the workplace, how to manage time, stay on track, follow directions, keep-up with the schedule as well as learn different strategies as far as being more independent.”

“Through the years, growth, and changes, the core values have stayed the same. We want every student to feel comfortable here and to know that this is “their” place.”
