Founded in 1996, Have Dreams is a leader in resources for individuals and their families living with autism spectrum disorder. Have Dreams offers lifespan programs and services for individuals across the entire autism spectrum, including after-school programs, workforce training for adults with autism, a full day community-based program for adults, mental health and employment counseling, online and in-person trainings for educators and other professionals, and family support services.
Part-Time Autism Mental Health Therapist
Have Dreams is seeking an experienced LPC, CRC, LCPC, LSW, or LCSW to join our team as a part-time therapist with a full-time option as the caseload grows at our Evanston location.
Description:
This candidate should have clinical mental health experience working with individuals (ages 10+) and families affected by an autism spectrum disorder. Ideal candidates should possess strong leadership skills, flexibility, creativity, time management, and organization. They should be knowledgeable about various evidence-based interventions to support children, adolescents, adults, and families impacted by autism in working toward their mental health and/or employment-related goals. Candidates should also be comfortable facilitating individual and family therapy. We are looking for applicants seeking to continuously learn and develop new skills and who appreciate working collaboratively as a team.
Requirements:
Master's degree in mental health counseling, rehabilitation counseling, or social work
Active Illinois license (CRC, LPC, LCPC, LSW, or LCSW)
Minimum 2 years experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders and mental health conditions
Responsibilities:
Commit to providing both in-person and telehealth sessions based at our Evanston location, with a minimum caseload 10-12 clients
Maintain accurate, professional, and timely documentation of client sessions
Complete all clinical, case management, and billing-related paperwork in a timely manner
Support marketing/outreach efforts to support/build caseload
Participate in ongoing clinical supervision
Schedule: Daytime, evenings and/or Saturday hours with competitive pay
