This interactive webinar introduces school administrators to the fundamentals of Structured Teaching, a research-based framework developed through the TEACCH approach to support students with diverse learning needs. Participants will explore how the core components—physical structure, visual schedules, work systems, and task organization—create classrooms that promote independence, predictability, and engagement.
Administrators will gain insight into why Structured Teaching works both instructionally and behaviorally: it reduces anxiety, increases time on task, and supports consistent routines that foster self-regulation and learning. Through real classroom examples, the session will highlight how these evidence-based strategies can be implemented school-wide to strengthen inclusive practices, support staff, and improve outcomes for all learners. There will be time for questions and/or discussion.
