Bridget McDonald is an elementary special education teacher with over 20 years of experience supporting diverse learners, including extensive work in inclusive classroom settings. Her previous roles include Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, Instructional Coach, and Autism Coach with the Illinois Autism Training & Technical Assistance Program.

Bridget holds a B.S. in Early Childhood Special Education, an M.A. in Special Education, and an M.A. in School Administration. She partners with general education teachers, special education staff, and related service providers to implement evidence-based practices that strengthen inclusion and increase student access and success in the general education curriculum. Bridget uses assessment and student data to design and support targeted interventions, and she brings strong expertise in classroom management and positive behavior supports. A teacher leader, she is committed to collaboration and effective teamwork within professional learning communities and IEP teams.
